Viewing and Signing

If you have been bidding on LOCATA you may be asked to come and look at a property. We will arrange for the top 4 or 5 people who have made bids for properties to view at the same time.

The property will be offered to each person in order of their band and priority date. In other words the person with the highest band and how long they have been registered for a move.

The property may not be ready to move into straight away as some repair work may be required.

If you are successful and are offered the property you will be asked to sign for the tenancy and will be given some useful information to assist your move. e.g:

• Moving Home booklet

• Lettable Standard

• Probationary Tenancy booklet

When the property is ready for you to move in you will be asked to attend an interview to sign a tenancy agreement. We will show you a short DVD about your tenancy conditions and will provide:-

• Tenants handbook

• Repairs Handbook 

• Decoration vouchers

• Right To Buy information
