The Respect Standard for Housing Management

A government led voluntary standard for landlords, to sign up to and make a public commitment to delivering good services to help stop anti-social behaviour (ASB) and create a culture of respect.

It is based on good work that many landlords are already doing to tackle ASB and contains six commitments –

• Accountability, leadership and commitment

• Empowering and reassuring residents

• Prevention and early intervention

• Tailored services for residents and provision of support for victims and witnesses

• Protecting communities through swift enforcement

• Support to tackle the causes of ASB

H&F Homes signed up to the Standard in January 2007 and have been working very hard since then to meet the standard.
