Tenders & Contracts
H&F Homes spends hundreds of thousands of pounds on works, supplies and services each year. We enter into contracts with organisations from the private, voluntary and community sectors, as well as other public bodies. Below is the latest available contract.
BOROUGHWIDE (HOUSING PROPERTIES) WATER SYSTEMS RISK ASSESSMENT, SURVEYS, INSPECTIONS AND REMEDIAL WORKS
(Closing date 13 September 2010)
H&F Homes is seeking an expression of interest from suitable contractors who would like to be considered for an invitation to tender for a 4-year contract to carry out water systems risk assessments, survey inspections, testing and remedial repairs to its properties. A Contract Notice was sent for publication in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) on 11 August 2010 and published on 14 August 2010 (reference
2010/S 157-243169
) (opens in a new window).
Applicants must be technically competent to participate in a procurement of this nature and will be required to complete a pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) that will be used to assess their suitability.
The tendering exercise is being undertaken through the London Tenders Portal (opens in a new window). PQQs can be only be obtained through the London Tenders Portal (the "Portal") and completed documents must be uploaded onto it no later than 03:00 hrs on 13 September 2010.
All communications regarding the tendering process will be managed through the Portal, and you must register an interest on the Portal in order to participate (registration is free). By registering you will also receive email notifications of other relevant opportunities when they arise from the participating organisations (as listed on the Portal). The above link can be used for those who are already registered or organisations registering for the first time. If you are registering for the first time on the Portal the system provides a Supplier Registration Wizard and you will need to complete each step. Once you have completed your registration application form it will be reviewed.
If another person within your organisation has previously registered an interest on the system your application will be rejected and an e-mail explaining why will be sent to you. You will need to contact that person within your organisation that is already registered and have them set up an account for you. Once your application has been accepted you will receive an email informing you of this and giving you a username and password, you will then be able to access this opportunity (and others that may be on the system).
Due to the nature of the contract to be awarded, tenderers should make themselves familiar with the appropriate guidance and/or Codes of Practice that are currently in force and issued by the statutory commission The Equality and Human Rights Commission (opens in a new window) set up by the UK Government.
It will be a condition of contract that the successful contractor will be required to comply with the H&F Home's Equal Opportunities Policy (opens in a new window) and register with the Contractors Health and Safety (CHAS) Scheme or equivalent.
Applicants may be interested in
additional Contract Notice being advertised by the Council
in respect of a similar non-housing related service (see below). The relevant Contract Notice appeared in the Official Journal of the European Union on 13 August 2010 (reference
2010/S 156-241696
) (open in a new window).
Both tendering exercises are being administered through the Portal. If an applicant wishes to apply for both tenders they need only complete one PQQ in respect of both notices. However in order to register an interest for tendering for both contracts the same PQQ needs to be up-loaded against each contract opportunity shown on the Portal. Failure to upload the completed PQQ against both opportunities may exclude the applicant from being considered for both contracts. H&F Homes reserves the right to reject applicants for either contract or both based on the information supplied in the PQQ.
All communications regarding the tendering process will be managed through the Portal.
