Tenants & Residents Associations (TRAs)
A TRA can play an important role in making sure that residents are listened to. These groups act on behalf of the residents on an estate or a local neighbourhood.
If you would like to know more about setting up or joining an existing TRA please contact HAFFTRA.
Hammersmith & Fulham Federation of Tenant and Resident Association (HAFFTRA)
HAFFTRA is an independent body set up in 1987 to represent tenants of H&F Homes. It is funded by a levy on tenants and has paid workers whose role is to support tenant and resident associations.
HAFFTRA holds monthly meetings with tenants’ representatives from across the borough, where issues affecting tenants are discussed. This gives the federation the opportunity to develop its own views, which can then be discussed with us at H&F Homes.
HAFFTRA workers attend both the Borough and Local area forums.
