Annual Conference
Every year H&F Homes will invite all tenants and leaseholders to Residents Conference.
It is an opportunity for residents to meet each other as well as staff and Board members and to take part in discussions about important issues affecting H&F Homes.
It’s also an opportunity to have some fun!
Why have a conference?
We are committed to improving services for our residents so we want you to talk to us about what we do, hear our ideas and share your suggestions about what we need to do better. It is your opportunity to have a real say in shaping what H&F Homes does in the future – and how we do it.
Our last conference
Tenants and leaseholders attended our annual Residents Conference at the Clem Attlee Hall on February 27 2010.
The annual event gave residents the chance to quiz Directors face to face and have their say about the organisation’s plans for the future. The message from the audience was loud and clear: “We like what you’re doing, but we want it to continue..."
The event began with a buffet lunch that gave residents an hour to share their views with Directors, Board Members and the many H&F Homes staff supporting the event.
After welcomes from H&F Homes Chair Harry Audley and Chief Executive Nick Johnson, HAFFTRA Chair Marie Thomas made an impassioned plea for residents not just to criticise, but to get involved. She told residents that complaining was something everyone was good at, but if they wanted to make a real difference they should start by joining their Tenants and Residents Associatio
